The Others Say…
Robert Lacrampe, journalist and editor at L’Audiophile and Nouvelle revue du Son, together with his dream system. In the last number of the Revue du Son before definitively close after 33 years of public service in Jan 2010, the editors were invited to reveal what system they really would like to have in theys homes, the Delta Sigma North Pole Integrated Amplifier was the hearth of his dreams.
“The sound is fast, vivid, dense and room-filling. Both the stereo imaging and the recreation of image depth are fantastic; the energy and the dynamics are remarkable. Both are very well controlled to avoid crisp sound in the mid-high frequencies and reproduce a perfect bass line: articulate, deep and powerful.“
“Being both an acoustics engineer and the designer of the Néo 1.2 , I am accustomed to listening to “High End” systems in many settings. I have had the opportunity to visit the most famous Hifi shop in the world in Tokyo , Audiodynamics 5555, managed by Toshiaki Kamawata. The Néo speakers are one of his two favorite speakers.
Before this week this had been my very best sound experience, but thanks to Armando, I have had the same wonderful experience with the ALEF amplifier and preamplifier. The sound is fast, vivid, dense and room-filling. Both the stereo imaging and the recreation of image depth are fantastic; the energy and the dynamics are remarkable. Both are very well controlled to avoid crisp sound in the mid-high frequencies and reproduce a perfect bass line: articulate, deep and powerful.
Néo speakers are 92 dB efficient speakers and Alef is “190 W” but both are with no power limitations. Furthermore this Combo reproduces a natural timbral warmth and most important were the goose bumps that the emotional core of the music instilled in me. You don’t need to close your eyes to make a cerebral effort to recreate the sound of the original.
I have tried to describe what I felt when I was listening to the system. It was obvious the moment I put on a CD: purety close to perfection.
Philippe Penna, the acoustical engineer and technical manager of Mosquito Neo loudspeakers about the ALEF Duet SE.
“…le son est d’une liberté incroyable, je suis vraiment impressionnée. Je me reconnais dans toutes les nuances de ma interprétation. …Félicitations, été une experience très intéressante, j’avais jamais entendu ca, c’est incroyable, impressionnant. “
English translation :
«… the sound has an impressive freedom, I am really astonished. I recognize all the nuances of my interpretation. Compliments, this has been a really interesting experience, I had never heard so well, unbelievable, impressive.”
Nathalie Choquette, soprano assisting to the Orchestra together with the Triangle Magellan Concerto at the Monaco Hi End Show on October 2010. She said that hardly the voice of a soprano can be recorded correctly and even more difficult was to have it reproduced later on. She came with his own master recording disc and wanted to see if really we were at the level of natural reproduction we aim to be.
Nobody builds anymore electronics like the ALEF ones!
